Raw denim rewards patience. For the first six months, wear your trucker as much as possible and wash it as little as possible — spot-clean marks and air it out between wears. Every crease you set now becomes a fade later.
When it is finally time, wash cold with a denim-specific detergent, buttoned up and inside out, then hang dry in the shade. Never tumble dry: heat shrinks the cotton unevenly and blows out the seams.
Good fades take a year. That is not a flaw in the jacket — it is the entire idea.
